PM Narendra Modi to inaugurate Phase I of Noida Jewar Airport on March 28, 2026. The project, also known as Jewar airport, is a greenfield development near the town of Jewar. Situated around 75 km from New Delhi, it will become the NCR’s second international airport after Indira Gandhi International Airport. The Noida International Airport will ease congestion at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi international (IGI) Airport. The airport will serve as a major boost to the country’s logistics sector, PM Modi said on Friday. He said the airport will help ease congestion at IGI Airport.
