The Indian Coast Guard has increased surveillance in the Northern Andaman Sea after receiving information of possible poaching activity. The Andaman and Nicobar Command on Friday conducted joint patrols in the region that resulted in the detention of nine poachers on board a dinghy carrying diving equipment.
